Adult Graduation Diploma
An adult high school diploma is the British Columbia Adult Graduation Diploma (BCAGD). It is for adult learners (18 years of age and older) who want to take courses to complete high school and obtain their adult high school diploma. Courses can be taken at school district continuing education centres and/or at one of the public post-secondary institutions that deliver Adult Education programs across the province.
The Adult Dogwood requires 20 credits of study (5 courses), some of which may be obtained through post-secondary courses and recognition of learning through work experience and employment. To find out what credits may qualify towards adult grad requirements, or for further information, email us at bakerview@abbyschools.ca and include your transcript if possible. If you have attended school in BC you can obtain your transcript HERE. Adult Dogwood credentials may affect what requirements are needed for post-secondary studies. Please contact your post-secondary institution for their pre-requisites.
