GRAD CEREMONY 2025

Date: June 12, 2025

Time: 3:30 pm 

Location: Abbotsford Arts Centre at 2329 Crescent Way, Abbotsford B.C. V2S 3M1 

Each graduate is permitted to invite up to 4 guests.

Grads are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony.

Arriving at the Abbotsford Arts Centre / Lining Up 

 As the parking lot is adjacent to Abbotsford Senior Secondary, we recommend grads and guests arrive for 3:00 pm.  The parking lot will be clear of Abbotsford Senior staff and students by 3:00 pm and there is ample parking.  If you arrive before 3:00 pm, expect some traffic. 

Graduates should arrive in their cap and gown, which will be distributed in early June.  

Upon arrival, grads will make their way to the Abbotsford Centre Addition to line up and prepare for their entrance.  Guests should make their way into the Abbotsford Centre Auditorium to find their seats. 

The ceremony will start promptly at 3:30 pm with grads entering the auditorium in alphabetical order. 

Crossing the Stage 

Students will have a professional photo taken of them after they cross the stage.  That photo will be available for pick up from the Bakerview Centre for Learning office by the end of June.  We will message families once photos have arrived. 

Once the grad's picture is taken, they will return to their seats for the end of ceremony.

Leaving the Stage / Exiting 

At the conclusion of the graduation ceremony, grads will exit the auditorium in alphabetical order. 

We ask guests to remain seated, so grads are visible as they exit. 

Reception 

Immediately following the ceremony, grads and guests are invited to a reception in the Abbotsford Arts Addition (next to the auditorium). 

There will be opportunities for photos and light refreshments (fruit and veggie platters and punch) will be served. 

Live Streaming

2025 Grad Fees can be paid on School Cash Online.

We will wait for student cap and gown packages to arrive in June – we will reach out to students to schedule a time for pickup.
