Intake Week - September 2025
Good afternoon Bakerview families! We hope you have found some time to rest and relax over the summer break.
We have some information to share as we prepare to return to Bakerview for our 2025-26 school year.
Info for 2025-26 Returning Students
In June, classroom staff booked intake meetings for families during our first week back with appointments starting Sept 2, 2025.
If you have not been contacted by a Bakerview staff member to book an intake meeting with classroom staff, please call the office or email bakerview@abbyschools.ca to request an appointment time.
This intake meeting is a yearly Ministry of Education and Childcare requirement for students attending Bakerview.
Intakes with classroom teachers and education assistants will take place during the week of Sept 2-5, 2025.
Classes for Bakerview students start on Monday Sept 8, 2025.
Please complete a 2025/26 online registration with guardian permissions prior to your intake meeting, link was emailed to you from bakerview@abbyschools.ca
Night School Online Registration Open
Night school classes start Sept 15 or 16 and run until January and are open to current secondary school students 16 years and older as well as adults who have not yet graduated or who are upgrading for post-secondary acceptance.
Courses run 5pm-8pm on Mondays and Wednesdays or 5pm-8pm Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Students may register for a maximum of 2 courses that run on opposite days.
This year night school will take place in classrooms at Yale Secondary.

Grads of 2025
Congratulations again on your graduation. It took dedication and hard work and you succeeded! Your graduation diplomas have arrived at Bakerview.
You can come into the office during the week of August 28th- September 1 anytime between 830am and 2pm to pick up your diploma.
Professional photos of your stage crossing are also available in the office for pick up if you didn't pick your photo up in June.
