GRAD CEREMONY 2024

DATE:              June 13th, 2024

TIME:             3:30pm

LOCATION:    Abby Arts Centre

Bakerview Centre for Learning's 2024 Grad Ceremony will take place at Abby Arts Centre located at 2329 Crescent Way, Abbotsford BC and is a seated event.

Grads are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony.

Our graduation ceremony will honour our students, and is open to 4 family representatives/guests.   The entire event will be live-streamed on June 13th, 2024 so your family and friends from near and far can watch their student cross the stage. The link will be posted here, when available.

Cap & Gown

Cap and Gown distribution for grads will be in early June.  Students will need to connect with their teachers to arrange pick up.  Graduating adults will receive an email from Bakerview office to arrange pick up.

Included in the cap and gown package is:

Cap and gown, stole and tassel
Ceremony arrival time and information

Prior to picking up your Cap and Gown, you must:

Pay your grad fee.
Pay any outstanding schools fees. Please see office staff for invoice.
Return borrowed materials like laptops or textbooks.
Meet all your grad requirements – passing all courses required for graduation.

Grad Formal

Bakerview will be hosting a Grad Formal for school aged students who are crossing the stage this year.  

DATE:          Friday, June 14th

TIME:           11:00 am - 1:00 pm (approx)  

                      Red carpet walk at approximately 11am

DRESS:         Formal

LOCATION:  Bakerview Gym

This is a catered, ticketed event, with a caricaturist, photo booth, and some games available with the potential to win some draw prizes.  The cost is $10.00.  A group grad photo will be taken towards the end of the event.

Tickets can be purchased online and picked up at the office, or purchased in person (Debit, Credit or Cash).  They are available for purchase until Friday, June 7th and will include all pertinent information and their draw prize #.

Grad Photos

Grad photos take place at Bakerview in the Learning Commons on May 6th, 7th, 8th and 15th. Please connect with the office if you have any questions.  There is a $20 sitting fee payable directly to the photographer, Vibrant Photos, on the day of photo sitting.
