Continuing Education - Learning Commons 

Secondary school completion is offered for youth and adults working towards a Dogwood Diploma, Adult Diploma, school leaving certificate or simply upgrading courses. The Continuing Education Program features a self-paced academic program with an emphasis on blended learning for students who:

Need only 1 or 2 courses to graduate;
Need credit recovery because they are enrolling with unfinished courses; or,
Cannot take a desired course through their regular program

Continuing Education (Learning Commons) offers:

Paper based and blended learning options
Flexible attendance schedules
Morning, afternoon and evening classes
Individualized secondary school completion and upgrading programs
Continuous progress monitoring of self-directed learning
Continual intake of new students

Self-Paced Class Schedule 

Monday to Friday Mornings -    8:53-11:13am
Monday to Thursday Afternoons - 11:43am  - 2:03pm
Tuesday & Thursday Evenings -     5:00-8:00pm

Registration

Registration for the Fall 2019 Session begins Monday, August 26th, 2019. Come into the school to register. Bring payment (we accept cash, Interac, Mastercard, Visa, or American Express) (CHEQUES ARE NOT ACCEPTED), government issued ID showing your birthdate (birth certificate, driver's license, BCID, Canadian passport or permanent resident card), Proof of Residence (Utility Bill, ID, Insurance, Banking/Mortgage Statement, Rental Agreement) and Personal Education Number (PEN).

**Your registration will not be accepted unless we have received FULL PAYMENT, PROPER IDENTIFICATION, PROOF OF ADDRESS AND YOUR PERSONAL EDUCATION NUMBER (PEN).

What you will need overview:

Valid ID
Proof of Address
$75 per course
Counsellor signature (if registered in another secondary school)
Parent signatures if under 19
PEN number (NEW - you will need this for your registration forms)

Bakerview  is closed over the summer. The office reopens August 26th, 2019.
